研究领域：
不孕不育是世界范围内共同面对的严峻的生殖健康问题。在中国育龄人口中不孕不育发生率已高达15%，部分地区已经达到18%，这加剧了我国人口老龄化的问题。因此，加强对不孕不育病因的研究极为迫切。遗传因素是不孕不育的一大主因。申请人长期从事哺乳动物精子发生的研究，聚焦于哺乳动物减数分裂、piRNAs通路以及逆转录转座子的研究。针对以下三方面进行深入探索：
1、哺乳动物减数分裂调控机制；
2、病毒感染和细菌感染引起生殖障碍的发病机理；
3、逆转录转座子的逆转座机理和代系遗传调控机制。
